Hi, I’m Kate and I am a freshman at Georgetown University.  As a history major, I often find myself attracted to learning about the past.  While studying for my world history final though, I had a question- why was I only reading about this history and not engaging with it?  Why was I not visiting the spots and learning the stories of the people?  Then an idea hit me– it’s time to explore.  So join me, as I visit historic sites around me, learning the stories of the sites and those who visited them and see how time has changed them.  It’s my journey to the past.
